Baseball

I guess by now you think that I am a big basketball fan/player well I guess that after you read this article you will think I am a big sports fan. While I don't play baseball I definately like to watch it. I'm big Red Sox fan but will root for others team when they are not playing the Red Sox if I like them. Sometimes I root for teams because of players sometimes I just like the style and the attitude of the team. This time of year there are some good games but I cannot wait for the postseason because that is where the best games often happen.

I'm pretty happy with the Red Sox after they turned a bad start (2-6) into a reasonable (7-6) record. And look what they did to the Orioles down 7-0 in the first game of their series they came back to win that game 10-8 and eventually swept the series. My big concern is that David Ortiz will have another so-so season like last year. But if he plays this year like David Ortiz normally does, I have high hopes for another trip to the postseason and a World Series title. Also if Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis can have another great season along with Big Papi that would further increase their chances for another World Series. Although Pedroia got the MVP I thought that Youkilis had a season that was also of MVP caliber. SOX ALL THE WAY!

  3. To Clewb- If you like the Yankees you would know who David Oritz is. You don't like the Yankees. Maybe you should comment on things you know about next time.

  4. I've been to like five baseball games, so I obviously have very little experience. However, the ones I have been to have been very tedious, and I got tired of waiting five minutes between plays only to see the batter strike out. However, I'm sure the case is different if you're watching the Red Sox rather than the Nationals..
